This week we have another double header. The Evening will start with Matt Krug, a native of New England, who has been telling stories for longer than he would care to admit. His stories are a mix of traditional tales, personal narratives, and fiction. He is a lifelong educator, self taught astronomer and outdoor enthusiast. When he is not telling stories, correcting papers, or staring at the stars, he can be found helping his wife with their farm in Fryeburg.

The evening will continue with David Swerdlow, the author of three full-length collections of peotry, including Nightstand (Broadstone Books, 2023). His work has appeared in Poetry, American Poetry Review, Iowa Review, West Branch and many other distinguished journals & anthologies. The recipient of several awards, Swedlow has received two grants from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. He served as a Fulbright Professor of American Literature in Peru, as a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowm and as a visiting faculty on two Semester at Sea Voyages. Since 1990, he has taught literature & creative writing at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa.
