Don’t miss this, our last ballroom dance social of the year. We’ll be finishing the season at the music hall the way we started it, dancing! If you still haven’t tried dancing, or you’ve been dancing but weren’t sure you were ready to join a social, this is for you! The lesson is for beginners (or anyone wanting to brush up on their basics), and there will be a brief overview of the general rules and expectations for ballroom social events. Don’t worry, they aren’t hard to understand, and I’m happy to answer questions about them beforehand or during the open dancing.

$10 for the lesson, $10 for the open dancing.

Our Second Ballroom Dance is next Saturday, June 24th, 7-9:00pm, Elizabeth Converse will be hosting. If you’ve never danced and want to learn, he will be teaching a group class at 6:00. If you’ve been looking for a place to dance locally this will be a fun opportunity.

As always, refreshments will be served downstairs in the cafe.

Saturday, August 20th we are having a Ballroom Dance hosted by Sergei Slussky. Sergei has taught ballroom dance at the Ballroom in Harrison for over 20 years.

If you’ve taken dance lessons, are taking them now, are an experienced dancer or just like to dance here is a chance to dance locally!

There will be a lesson from 6:00 – 7:00. The cost of the lesson is $10 per person paid directly to Sergei. The dance will be from 7:00 – 9:00 and is by donation, with Sergei acting as DJ. No partner is required.

Refreshments will be available downstairs in the cafe.

Additional parking is available next door at Phil’s Mobil.
