SUMMARY:Mainely Clarinets & Cafe Brazil
DESCRIPTION:This week is a double header in the main hall. The evening will start with Cafe Brazil\, Peter Griggs & Steven Silverstein. Peter plays guitar and Steven joins him on a variety of wind instruments. They play a lively program of bossa nova\, samba & Brazilian jazz\, tunes you may be familiar with by well known composers. Both are highly accomplished musicians who have performed many concerts separately and together and have multiple recordings to their credits on well known labels. This wind ensemble comprised of local musicians from Bridgton\, Norway and Waterford are directed by Dick Albert. All have had careers as music teachers and have played extensively in groups ranging from local community bands to the US Navy Band. Mainely Clarinets plays an eclectic selection of jazz\, pop tunes\, hymns\, polkas and other favorites. \nJoin us for a fun\, lively evening of music. As always there will be a reception following.
